The name of a treatment that use a round herbal ball of special herbs. According to historical evidences it has been used in Thailand for over 400. by opening the pores and bringing a medicinal heat to muscles to induce relaxation. The Thai Herbal Compress ball is made from various dried herbs wrapped in cotton traditionally used in Thai medicine.
Hot compresses are bundles of specially chosen herbs that are wrapped up in muslin. They are then heated in a steamer which releases their healing properties and are applied to the body in a specific manner to increase energy flow, improve circulation, relax muscles and stimulate nerves, (especially good post partum.) These little warm bundles are stroked over the body in a specific way, working along the meridian lines and can also be left to sit on specific acupressure points. Energy blocks can therefore be removed and the subtle energy is allowed to flow in a healthier manner, so benefiting the entire person.
